Here follows information about studies in Oradea and other cities in Romania. 

The admission period for July session 2011/Timetable valid for the University of Oradea. Each faculty can have its timetable.

1st of April 2011- 1st of July 2011 – submission files for the acknowledgement of previous studies by the Ministry of Education
11-23 July 2011- registration process
25-28 July 2011 –entrance exam
25-30 July 2011- the final results

1. Eligible candidates
-Candidates from European Union, European Economic Space and Switzerland
- Candidates from non-European Union countries.
-Candidates who have graduated a high-school or college accredited in their country and which is recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports.(For citizens from UK is needed 3 A level subjects to study Medicine)

2.Admission
The admission for EU, EEA and Switzerland candidates has 2 phases:
I. Obtaining the recognition of previous studies from the Ministry of Education (Certificate issued by the Center of Recognition and Validation of Studies)
II. Participation of the candidates to the admission organized by the University of Oradea.


The documents required for the application are as follows:

1. Application form for the University of Oradea (click HERE to download)
2. Application form for recognition of studies - Application form
3. High-school Diploma – legalized copy
4.Bachelor degree and transcript of records (for graduate applicants) – legalized copy
5.Identification document (photocopy): Passport (first 4 pages) or other ID.
6. Declaration that the previous studies give you the right to follow university studies.
7. Confirmation of payment for non-refundable processing file fee of 150 euro

The documents in other languages than English or French will be translated either into English or into Romanian.

Deadline for submitting the file for recognition is the 1st of July 2010. After this date no applications will be processed.

Fees
Tuition fees will be settled by the Senate of the University for the coming academic year.
